EXPANDING our universe
Born in Italy, where creativity and craftsmanship intertwine with a rich cultural history, Adele and Roberto grew up among the mountains and lakes north of Milan. Adele collected minerals as a child and Roberto fell for photography: both learned early to find magic in the tiniest detail.
Milan became their second home: Adele studied there, and both found in the city the art, the music and the long nights that fed an appetite the metropolis alone could not satisfy.
Driven by a restless curiosity for what lay beyond their horizon, they looked far afield: encounters, journeys and quiet stretches in the wilderness, from the rainforests of Costa Rica to the deserts of Namibia, became raw material taken home, waiting to be cast into gold. Italian heritage and distant landscapes have been shaping each other ever since, into a world of values that belongs to no school.
EMBRACING the unexpected
After years in corporate management, they walked away carrying a taste for precision and an unruly craving for wonder.
Their encounter with jewelry was not planned, yet immediate. Standing before the ancient Etruscan goldwork preserved in Italy’s archaeological museums, they recognized an art made to be lived: a matter of true intimacy, worn on the skin, touched and carried through a lifetime.
Largely self-taught, they approached the craft as an intuitive and tactile exploration. The path was anything but linear. Guided by stubborn curiosity and plenty of trial and error, they built their method from the ground up, maintaining full autonomy over their production to preserve their creative freedom. In doing so, they learned to listen to the material and trust their hands.
Born from this search, Liquid Setting is the beating heart of their practice—a technique where molten gold envelops the gemstones, allowing them to rise like shimmering islands in a golden sea.
